Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 September 2026

This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, when we share it and the choices available to you when using Dreesha Souq.

1. Who we are and scope

Dreesha Souq is an electronic matching platform operated by Zuhal Media L.L.C — S.P.C in the United Arab Emirates. This policy applies to the website, accounts, buying requests, items, matches, offers, conversations, notifications, ratings and dealer services connected with the platform.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, phone number, authentication and account status.
  • Requests and items: category, description, price, budget, location, images and specifications.
  • Dealer data: store or showroom information, licence, inventory and review status.
  • Transaction data: matches, offers, responses, messages, confirmations, appointments and ratings.
  • Technical and security data: network address, device, browser, login, error and abuse-prevention records.
  • Support data: enquiries, reports, messages and attachments you send us.

3. Sources

We obtain data directly from you, through your use of the platform, from parties connected to a transaction with you, from technology and security providers, and from official or public sources when checking dealer or licence information, to the extent permitted by law.

4. How we use data

We use data to create and secure accounts; operate matching, Dreesha Hunt and demand indicators; present opportunities; enable offers, conversations, confirmations and ratings; manage dealers; send service messages; provide support; measure performance; prevent fraud and abuse; meet legal obligations; and handle disputes.

5. Legal grounds

Depending on the activity, we process data to provide the service you requested, with your consent, to comply with legal obligations, or to protect rights and security, prevent fraud and pursue legitimate interests permitted by law. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier processing or records we must retain.

6. Private matching and confidential limits

We do not publish contact details as part of matching. We show a relevant party only the information needed to assess an opportunity and manage a transaction. A buyer’s maximum budget and seller’s minimum price, when offered as confidential inputs, are used to detect possible agreement and are not disclosed to the other party. We may show aggregated indicators such as request counts or price averages without identifying individuals.

7. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share what is necessary with a counterparty in a match or transaction; hosting, database, email, security, analytics and support providers; a service partner you request; or competent authorities when legally required or necessary to protect users and the platform. Providers must process data for agreed purposes under appropriate safeguards.

8. International transfers

Some providers may use infrastructure outside the UAE. For cross-border transfers, we apply measures and safeguards required by applicable law and limit transfers to what is needed for the service.

9. Retention

We retain data while an account, request or transaction is active and afterwards as needed for support, legal obligations, complaints, protection of rights and fraud prevention. Retention varies by record type. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify data where appropriate.

10. Security

We use access controls, permissions, security rules, logs and technical and organisational measures appropriate to the data. No online service is completely secure. Use a strong password, do not share login codes, and tell us promptly about suspicious activity.

11. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access information about processing, correct, transfer or erase data, restrict or object to certain processing or automated decisions, withdraw consent, and complain to the competent authority. We may verify your identity and may limit or refuse a request where the law permits or to protect others’ rights.

12. Cookies and sessions

We use essential cookies and session technologies for sign-in, account security, language preferences and platform functionality. We may use operational measurements to diagnose failures and improve performance. If optional technologies requiring consent are introduced, we will provide an appropriate choice.

13. Minors

The platform is not intended for anyone who lacks legal capacity to enter transactions. If we learn that a minor’s data was collected without an appropriate legal basis, we will take reasonable steps to delete or restrict it.

14. Updates and contact

We may update this policy as the service or requirements change and will display the latest update date. For privacy requests, account deletion or questions, email info@dreeshasouq.ae.
